I was thinking of giving him +1 IQ to show all the progress he and Riffers have done.

DeleteI tried it in the Character Builder that Scott and I use, and it is as Kirk says; both the Gauntlets (+2 Enhancement to STR) used with a Medalion with a +1 STR Enhancement result in a total of only +2 in STR.
ReplyDeleteOn Banaal's choice of Ability score to enhance: Well, I, despite making a 7th level character, didn't leave any odd numbered ability scores to really make use of that bump. So, I will probably put it on Wisdom and wait for however long to get the next one for it to count.

DeleteThe D&D attribute system is a bit odd. You could literally halve the number and just readjust to 2 - 10. 2 = 4 and 10 = 20. Rolling 3d6 can be thrilling though!
ReplyDeleteI just tried it on PC gen and like Assif said it only totals +2. Guess I boost Str +1 and sell medallion. OR exchange it for a +1 Int medallion......
